What Mind Is In You? We re people destined for greatness. But we have to be diligent to be careful of the spirit in us. As this is the season of rising we need to be careful of the spirit in us. Judas had the spirit of betrayal lurking inside him even when he had the privilege of walking and dining with the master.
What spirit guides you in this seasons of our rising?
Judges 13:3-7
Samson was to deliver his people but he had spirit that he didn’t do anything bout. The spirit of Lust ( to get and touch what he shouldn’t touch). There are situations when God says wait.
Exodus 32:19
Moses was another example of someone who didn’t deal with the spirit of anger in him until it cost him the promise land. He smoke the rock twice instead of once. Anger also led him to murder.
Spirit of The End Times
2 Timothy 3:1-9
The spirit of the end times is highlighted. Here, the bible sys people exhibiting this spirit will go no further.
Territorial Spirits
For someone who is rising should be careful of the kind of place where you do business or play or live. There are territorial spirits who control and influence people’s behavior in particular locations. N example is the spirit of disobedience in people according to Ephesians 2:2-3
Habits
There are habits that are obstacles to our rising. Drunkenness is one as in Proverb 31:4: Prov 31:4-6
- It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink: 5 Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted. 6 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.
Our minds need to be renewed everyday so that transformation can take place.
