I Believe
Why is faith so important? Hebrews 11:6 gives us a perfect answer to that question.
Do you believe what God has said about you or what your circumstances are saying about you?
Many good-hearted Christians believe God but cannot see the manifestation of God’s promises in their lives. Believing that God exists, that He can heal diseases is not—does not guarantee healing. Hebrews 11:1, states that hope is not enough to manifest the glory of God in your life, your hope most have substance. The substance is always the action of your faith. Hope is good, we have to hope in order to have faith. James 2:18-23, shows us that the agents of the enemy also believe, can we say that demons have the power to change their circumstance? Surely not! To believe alone, is not enough, for even demons believe—Abraham, in James 2:22, his faith is said to move in accordance with his actions.
The story of the woman with the issue of blood, is a good example that differentiates hope from faith. Despite the rule of law at the time, that prohibited her from moving in crowds, she heard that Jesus was in town and got up from her home to go (with her ailment still pronounced), to where Jesus was. She put action into the belief that Jesus could heal her and thusly, made the effort to go to where He was, taking no regard for the natural law that had prohibited her from going into a crowd of people.
Those who seek the Him, not those who are seeking His hand, He will add unto them. How do we seek Him? In every conversation, every meeting, outing, are you seeking Him through your actions? Are you seeking Him through the words that come forth from your tongue?
Conduct yourself in a manner that glorifies the kingdom of God almighty, act on the things you hope for—exercising your faith.
Faith speaks and mountains move.
